Inocêncio Lopes

My name is Inocêncio Lopes, I am 24 years old, originally from Lichinga, Niassa province, and currently living in Motola. I hold a Degree in Agronomy from Nachingewia University and am pursuing a Master’s Degree in Plant Protection at Eduardo Mondlane University. I have gained solid experience in fruit fly taxonomy, counting, and management throughout my academic career. I have participated in field experiments evaluating M3 bait stations for mango fruit fly control and studies on fruit fly infestation in cucurbits. Additionally, I contributed to research on the effects of different substrates on tomato shoot growth. I am committed to applying my knowledge and skills to support the goals of this scholarship program. I am eager to continue developing professionally in the area of plant protection.
