🌱 PhD Scholarships: DISPEST_2 Project on Fruit Fly Pest Management 🍊

Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) is offering two full-time PhD scholarships under the DISPEST_2 project, funded within the 2024-2029 program by the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation (DGD) and the Royal Museum for Central Africa (RMCA).

Positions Available:

1. Predictive Modeling of Fruit Infestation by Ceratitis rosa and C. quilicii
2. Predictive Modeling of Fruit Infestation by Ceratitis cosyra

Requirements:

• MSc in Entomology, Crop Science, or related fields
• Tanzanian citizen, under 35
• Strong data analysis (R, GIS) and fieldwork skills
• Female applicants encouraged!
