Identification sheets

These Identification sheets were produced by Dr G. Goergen of the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) within the framework of the PLMF Project of ECOWAS to support the regional plan for the control of fruit flies in West Africa (2014-2019). The PLMF project was financed by the European Union and the Agence Française de Développement (afd) and coordinated by CORAF.

The identification sheets present the most important fruit flies of economic significance in West Africa. They illustrate the main characteristics to identify them and to differentiate them from each other. They are available in English and in French.
